Upstate Bicycle Works ("we," "us," "our") offers an SMS messaging program to provide customers with transactional text messages related to bicycle service. This program is operated by Upstate Bicycle Works and powered by the WorkBridgeOS platform. By opting in to our SMS program, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Message Purpose
Our SMS program sends transactional messages related to bicycle service only. Messages you may receive include:
Repair status updates
Appointment reminders
Service notifications
Pickup alerts
Consent and Opt-In
You may opt in to receive text messages from Upstate Bicycle Works through any of the following methods:
In-store service intake forms
Online booking forms
Website service request submissions
At the time of opt-in, you must provide your phone number and actively agree to receive SMS messages from Upstate Bicycle Works. By opting in, you confirm that you are the owner or authorized user of the mobile phone number provided, and that you consent to receive text messages at that number from Upstate Bicycle Works.
Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. You may purchase goods and services from Upstate Bicycle Works without opting in to our SMS program.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on your service appointments, bookings, and interactions with us. Messages are only sent in connection with active service relationships.

Message and data rates may apply. Please contact your wireless carrier for pricing details related to text messaging under your mobile plan. Upstate Bicycle Works is not responsible for any fees charged by your carrier.
Opt-Out
You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send you a single confirmation message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. No further text messages will be sent to your phone number unless you re-subscribe.
Opting out of the SMS program will not affect any other communications you receive from us (such as email) or any services you have with us.

Supported Carriers

Privacy and Data Protection
We respect your privacy and will not sell, rent, lease, share, or trade your phone number or mobile information to any third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Your phone number is collected solely for the purpose of sending you transactional service-related text messages as described above.

Platform
Upstate Bicycle Works sends messages directly to customers with whom we have an existing service relationship. Our messaging workflows are managed through the WorkBridgeOS platform. WorkBridgeOS does not send messages directly to consumers; messages originate from Upstate Bicycle Works.
Disclaimer of Warranties
We make no warranty, express or implied, regarding the SMS program, including but not limited to the timeliness, reliability, or availability of text messages. We are not responsible for delays or failures in message delivery caused by your wireless carrier, device compatibility, or other factors outside our control.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these SMS Terms of Service at any time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via text message or through our website. Your continued participation in the SMS program after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
